How amazing would it be to get married at the place you first met your husband? How even more amazing would it be if that place just so happened to have a fun, intimate atmosphere and delicious Italian food? The Spaghetti Warehouse in Columbus, OH was the very beginning of Emily + Zack, and now its where their story of forever begins as well. To say I was over the moon to capture this one is an understatement! I don't know if you have ever been inside, but it is wall to wall with exposed brick, stained glass, and ephemera. Such a fun, laid back space that just fits this couple's personality!
Emily and Zack had a sweet first look in Bicentennial Park down by the river on the Scioto Mile. I just love to see the look on the groom's face when he sees his bride for the first time. After their first look, we took some leisurely portraits all along the Scioto Mile, even having their first dance on the amphitheater stage in the park. Then it was on to the wedding venue for a cozy intimate wedding with their closest family friends. And if you have your wedding at a restaurant, expect the reception to be delicious - which it was. Amidst the guests chatting excitedly were heaping portions of lasagna, spaghetti and chicken fettucine. YUM!! After dinner was time for cake and cupcakes and some romantic portraits of the bride and groom at sunset with the golden sun setting the cityscape of Columbus on fire! But not more on fire than these two! Emily and Zack, I wish you the best in your future together! Thank you for letting me be a small part of this special celebration!
Are you interested in having wedding photos taken that show who you are as a couple, not just what you look like? I would love to capture and tell the story of your day! Let's chat!!
