Ok, seriously. I am in love with this session! This lifestyle child photo session had been long anticipated and the evening did not disappoint!
I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful golden hour shoot with these sweet, silly and beautiful subjects. Mom had a great idea to keep the kiddos barefoot, as they went off exploring and running and dancing in the golden fields. She added just the perfect touch of style, while keeping things natural and organic. We met at the wildflower fields by the reservoir at Buck Creek State Park in Springfield, OH. While there were no wildflowers this time of year, there was an abundance of goldenrod, wheat grass and delicate Queene Anne's Lace here and there.
The whole session was a great time from start to finish. We told the kids they were going on an adventure, and that they did. Parts of it were all boy and parts of it were all girl. I had so much fun capturing their sibling bond as well as their sibling rivalry. Miss Claire is just a natural beauty and she had a great time dancing in the evening sunlight. The older boys are just ornery but love each other fiercely. And everyone is completely enamored with sweet baby Lane, who is almost one year old. My camera loved him in the dreamy backlight with his Wild Things crown. These kids are so special and I will gladly photograph them over and over again!
